The song features Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh setting the dance floor on fire. Their infectious thumkas make it the ultimate party track with a blend of comedy. Bhumi and Rakul engage in a catfight, going daggers at each other, while Arjun’s endearing avatar adds charm. The song captures the playful essence of Biwi No.1, No Entry, and Saajan Chale Sasural, offering a nostalgic touch instead of just following modern hookstep trends.

Director Mudassar Aziz shared his vision for the song: “The goal was to bring back the essence of those iconic filmy songs that define Hindi cinema. I’ve always loved them, and this film gave me the perfect opportunity to recreate that magic.”

Sung by Badshah and Kanika Kapoor, the song features music by Akshay & IP. Badshah expressed his excitement: “‘Gori Hai Kalaiyan’ is peppy, upbeat, and full of filmy energy. I had a blast working on it, and I promise it will get everyone grooving!”

Kanika Kapoor added, “It’s been a while since we had a true party anthem. What better way to kickstart 2025 than with Gori Hai Kalaiyan?”

Music composers Akshay & IP called the track “a mix of new-age elements and irresistible rhythms,” paying homage to legends Bappi Lahiri, Lata Mangeshkar, Shabbir Kumar, and Anjaan.

Producer Jackky Bhagnani stated, “This is a must-have retro track. I’m thrilled with how it turned out and hope audiences enjoy it as much as we do!”
